URBAN REGENERATION

For Ferretticasa, the sustainability of buildings in terms of energy consumption, water supply, and climate comfort are essential elements. Our projects represent an example of urban regeneration that enhances sociality, the Green spirit, and a new way of conceiving living. Our buildings represent a look to the future, a rebirth for the city and new generations. At the forefront is the “need for a new way of understanding and conceiving the” urban area. In recent times, attempts have been made to address all these issues with the concept of urban regeneration – actions aimed at recovering and redeveloping an urban space.

The process of regeneration occurs through recovery interventions at the infrastructure and services level, limiting land consumption to protect environmental sustainability. Regeneration also allows the community to reclaim and relive the regenerated spaces, with evident improvements in quality of life and in the social, economic, and environmental spheres. Cities are called to modify themselves and reorganize inhabited spaces based on new principles and new development logics: from this point of view, “urban voids” and unused spaces offer opportunities to rethink the functions of the territory, developing new synergies for urban quality.

We have regenerated 300,000 square meters of territory.
